Roadmap to a green building: TAUW supports global investor APL in the acquisition of an office complex in Berlin

25 Januar 2021

TAUW supported the global investor Asia Pacific Land (APL) in the acquisition of a large office complex in Berlin.

TAUW conducted an environmental due diligence (EDD) on the property, which was built between 1989 and 1992 and is located in an area directly on the banks of the river Spree in the Berlin-Moabit district. The EDD was carried out in combination with a technical due diligence, which was conducted by TA Europe.

TAUW's scope of services included Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessment including a road map for a potential DGNB certification for the newly acquired building complex.

Christoph Wohlgemuth, Project Manager at TAUW: "We are pleased that we were able to support APL with our consulting services by taking environmental aspects into account when acquiring the building and at the same time showing how the ESG performance of the office complex can be improved in the long term."
